Our business was founded in the mid 1980’s by my father, Graham Smith, a
contractor and small farmer. He found that lime suppliers were reluctant to apply
small amounts of lime. Other local farmers found the same problem, so he
started to help both them and himself. It is a policy we still hold true today.
Whilst we are happy to take on substantial contracts for estates and large scale
farmers, we will never turn any small job away.
For spreading, we mostly use Big A 3 wheeled spreaders, equipped with LGP
tyres and GPS-VR controllers, but we also run a smaller tractor drawn spreader for any jobs where access
is an issue.
Providing a high level of service is important to us.
